Luis Pardo

My name is Luis Pardo, I’m in Los Angeles, California, and I am here to encourage change in California, to include, to expand the coverage, the health coverage, for all Californians, regardless of income and regardless of immigration status.  I think it’s very critical that we start a program that includes all people that live in California to access the health care that we need.  This process is very important to include children at all ages, and all incomes and immigration status, so they can provide them some preventive care, and we can expand the system to include adults as well.  I think it’s very critical, not only for the health of our citizens, but also to expand the economy.  This is something that we make as an investment not just for today, but also for the future, and I consider health care to be a human right for everyone in California.
