My point is this. EVERY child born in a U.S. hospital here in California or any other state has a FATHER listed on the birth certificate. WHY isn’t it mandatory that the father provide coverage for his child? I’m not sure if this is part of the Governor’s plan for California but lets face it we need to make each person responsible for their own children. This includes the FATHER. Even if he never legally gets married to his baby’s mother he can provide health care coverage.
