My story is rather positive. I was 19 and into racing. Will watching an Illegal street race a kid on a motorcycle decided to show off and wile doing so he crashed the bike at approximately 60-70 mph. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the bike crashed into me and my friends girlfriend. I took the brunt of the blow but she got clipped with the tire and it broke both of her legs. I was wrapped around the bike much like a taco and then lodged under my friends Mustang. I had both of my legs broken, a traumatic brain injury and had to be air lifted to San Jose Med. all of this and no health coverage. My Parents went to the state and received Medical insurance. Medical covered all of my medical expenses almost totaling over five hundred thousand dollars that we could never pay for. In the end I have recoverd 100% and have learned many new trades and have just recently passed my California State contractors license test and look forward to starting my new career.
